2020 has been filled with difficulties and obstacles no one saw coming but in the midst there have been moments of hope and joy to remember as well. This year has encouraged us to look outward and to choose generosity to those around us. The Holiday Gift Giveaway of Harvey, Illinois is one occasion that highlighted the good and let the problems of our pandemic year feel behind us, even for just a brief time.

2nd Ward Alderman Marshun Tolbert hosted this benefit on Sunday, December 20th at the Resource Center in Harvey and was open to all 2nd Ward residents.

At the Holiday Gift Giveaway, Harvey resident families received nearly 1,000 toys and over $2,000 in gift cards! It's been our joy to have a City Sports store location in the Harvey community and we welcome new generations of customers. We were thrilled to be able to give back to the community we love and be a part of this unique event.
